1st trip of the year. 1st intercity train ride for Nabil.
Our initial vacation destination was supposedly to be Pulau Perhentian. The accommodation in Perhentian that we wanted, Chalet Abdul is fully booked so we had to settled for Perhentian Island Resort. But in the end we felt that it's a bit pricey to stay at PIR so we decided to go to Singapore instead. Perhentian will be in our future planning, insyaAllah.
I started to plan for the Singapore 4D3N trip.

(2) Day 2 : 27 May 2012---Mustafa Centre & Zam Zam Restaurant
(3) Day 3 : 28 May 2012---Singapore Zoo
We took the intercity train from Kajang at 11.40pm and arrived JB Sentral at about 6am. Too bad we could't get the sleeper coach as it was fully booked. (Cuti sekolah telah bermula!!) but we managed to get the sleeper coach back to Kajang. Takpelah, just nak bagi Nabil rasa naik kedua2 nya :). Punyalah excited (or darat???) anak aku nih, naik2 je tren tu dia kata" Wah...bestnyer tren, ada aircond!" Wakakaka...
The last time I was in JB was like 10 years ago. Banyak dah berubah. JB Sentral pun cam canggih. Sampai2 kami solat subuh di surau JB Sentral. Sangat selesa surau JB Sentral,telekung & sejadah disediakan. Selesai solat, kami breakfast kat mamak di bawah JB Sentral. Sedap gak roti canai and mee hoon goreng dia. Kemudian kami menaiki teksi berkupon RM14.00 ke Tune Hotel. Walaupun masih awal untuk check in tapi dah tak tau nak lepak kat mana. Might as well lepak kat hotel jer.

Sambil tu, kami pergi ke kaunter tiket bas Odyssey di sebelah 7-11 di bangunan Tune Hotel ini, yang menyediakan perkhidmatan bas ekspress dari Tune Hotel ke USS. Tambang pergi balik adalah RM25 untuk dewasa dan RM10 untuk kanak2. Kami beli tiket untuk 27/5 dan 28/5 walaupun bukan bertujuan untuk ke USS kerana memikirkan ia adalah cara paling terbaik buat kami. Tak perlu naik teksi untuk ke JB sentral dan juga berebut2 dan bergegas2 jika menaiki bas bandaran. Bertolak dari Tune Hotel pada pukul 8.30 pagi dan kembali ke Tune Hotel pada pukul 9.30 malam.
Tune Hotel Danga Bay is having a promo that week, what luck! For the 3 nights stay with Add-Ons : Early arrival, 12hrs aircond and 24hrs TV, we only paid RM144. That's RM48/night.
Room is small but the most important thing is the bed and pillows are super comfy. They claimed that their beds are of 5star quality, and i'm agreeing with them. Walaupun hotel budget tapi kebersihan dan keselesaan adalah terbaik. Tidak kopam okeh!! We checked in at 11am [early check-in add ons RM15, normal check in is at 2pm] and rested until 3pm.
