Dah lama x membaca

I love to read. I used to read a lot dulu. Masa kecik2 sangatlah suka baca novels Enid Blyton. The Famous 5, The Adventure series lah,etc. Yang versi melayu pun aku suka baca gak. Siri Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys. Yang cintan2 masa dah remaja lah. Memang banyak koleksi novel aku ni. Aku jenis sayang buku, simpan baik2. Buku aku yg dah lebih 20 taun pun ada lagik. In good condition.

Tapi bila aku dah start keja, kurang sket membaca. My favourites are Spohie Kinsella Shopaholic series. Yelah, memang kena ngan batang idung sendiri kan. I'm a Shopaholic too! Memang best! Buku2 self help@motivational pun ahkak suka gak.

As i was bloghopping, found entry by Leeds on buku "Ayat-ayat Cinta". Dulu cam penah baca org rekomen soh baca buku tu. La ni jumpa lagi si Leeds ni pun suggest gak. So, aku pun membelilah di Kinokuniya. Kebetulan Shopaholic & Baby pun dah ada dipasaran. Ahkak pn rembatlah kedua2nya sekali and got myself 20% discount. Yay!

Aku dah abis baca dah Ayat-ayat Cinta tu. Memang menyentuh kalbu. Membuatkan ahkak berdoa pd Allah untuk menjadi seperti Aisha and Abi seperti Fahri. Amin!
Serius ni! skang setiap kali lepas solat aku doa cam tu tau! Sungguh suci dan murni cinta mereka. Dan betapa tenangnya hidup bila kita kembali kepadaNya. So, ahkak memang menyesyorkan novel ni. A Must Read!

The Making of...Nabil's 1st Passport Photo

This is Nabil's 1st passport photo taken last week. Atuk dia nak bawak gi jejalan Bali.
Putih semacam je muka...hehehe. Senget kan badan dia tu???

Well, tengoklah sebab apa badan si kecik ni senget.


Rupa-rupanya kena umpan ngan handphone Mama Fazz (my SIL) dia. Ada 2 take, but yang ni lebih encem sket:)

On the way to work today, as we stopped at the traffic lights-somebody from the car beside our motobike smiled and he waved sheepishly at me

I smiled and waved back at him

A small chinese boy, 9 yo perhaps

I'm wondering what triggers him to smile at me

Is there something funny about me?

or

Is it just that the pureness heart of a child

that sees beyond the border of age and race

his smile certainly made me feel warm inside

Pompuan dan Makeup

Ahkak n my fren, Arie gi Metrojaya Midvalley to just try out Benefit cosmetics. The sales girl yang attend we all tu punya la comel. Sambil kami cuba2, ahkak n Arie tak abis2 dok perati budak ni. Manis dan nampak natural sungguh makeup dia. Tak berkelip2 mata kami memandangnyer. Kami tanya dia,"So, r u using Benefit?" and she nods. "Mmmm,padanlah lawa", kami sepakat berkata. Betapa 'naive' nyer kami...dah tentu dia cakap ya kan??? Hehe

Kami takde intention pun nak membeli, so berlalulah kami dari kaunter Benefit tuh. Akan tetapi, setelah pulang ke rumah, ropa2nya kami telah ter'goda' tanpa disedari untuk menjadi se'comel' budak kaunter. So, esok petangnya, kami telah dengan berkobar2nya untuk bertemu budak kaunter yg comel sambil membeli belah barang Benefit. Namun, alangkah keciwa nyer kami kerana budak kaunter yg comel tiada, yg ada cumalah Ah So yang kureng comel.

namun, disebabkan telah teruja, kami pun meneruskan niat kami. Tapi sempat gak tanya tu, "Eh, mana itu budak? Semalam ada?" Ah So jawab, "Ooo, itu budak temporary jer". Keciwa kami!. Ah So tu pun merekomenkan lah kami some kind-a gorgeous, ok ahkak terus sambar 1. Pastu dia rekomen lah plak Bentint, "ini Lose (Rose) punya, natural. Cuba u bau ini Lose (Rose)." Oh tidak!!! Kami cam nak tergelak jer. Tapi dalam "Lose,Lose" tu pun kami menyambar gak. Ahkak cakap ngan Arie, "Ish, kalu budak tu lah yang merekomen kat aku, mau semua produk Benefit aku beli nih!"

Begini lah hasil rembatan Benefit ahkak setakat nih.

Sunset @ PD

Semalam hubby kena standby keja kat JPJ Seremban. Since it was Sunday, so boring la kan...dia ajak ikut sekali. So, after selesai keja petang tu, dia ajak gi jalan2 kat PD. So, apa lagi, jomlah!

Sampai kat PD, lepak2 kat tepi pantai. Budak-budak selalunya suka air kan? Tapi Nabil punyalah takut ngan air, sampai nak pandang laut pun takut.

Tengoklah muka orang yang takut air nih! Kecian! :)

Kitaorang lepak sambil menikmati kopok lekor and air kelapa, sambil tunggu sunset. Entahla, aku memang suka sangat sunset and sunrise ni. Tapi sunrise susah sangat nak dapat tengok. coz tau2 je matahari dah tegak atas kepala...huhuu.

Not actually the sun setting down la, dah nak maghrib la wei. Tak elok dok kat luar. :)

To FiSh or not to FiSh

My hubby loves to fish. Minat tapi belumlah berstatus kaki pancing lagik. He always says that he loves fishing but since we dated until we got married, he only fished once. That was way back in 2004. So, after sooo many years have gone by, we finally managed to fish again!

Kami balik kelate and had our fishing outing at Tok Bali. We started quite late, kluar rumah pun dah pukul 5 ptg, nak gi beli umpan lagik, nak gi beli tali utk Stone lagik...

Singgah kat pasar malam Tok Bali. Abi went to buy the umpan, ikan kembung very the segar. Best kalau beli untuk orang makan, tapi for this time it will be the treats for the fishies (ikan makan ikan???) I nampak orang jual duku terengganu and bought 3 kg. Best duku dia...manis.

We found a good BBQ ready and lepak spot, Abi and Stone (BIL) start to pasang umpan pada mata kail meanwhile me and baby Nabil lepak2 kat tikar sambil makan kacang & duku. In a few minutes, Stone dapat a very small fish but was excited about it. Yelah, sape yang tak excited kan...hubby cam boring jer...umpan dia belum mengena.

Tak lama tu, Abi berlari naik atas at where we are and proudly show us his catch of the day! Anak ikan gelama. He was proud of his catch and I'm really happy for him. "Balik ni gorenglah, selalu kita makan gelama asin jer, kali ni nak rasa yang fresh punya",he beemed.

The sunset at Tok Bali was spectacular. I always love to watch sunset. Nabil is getting restless. Rupa2nya dah yak chuk. Abi and Stone pack up their fishing gear about 8.30pm. Abi naik and asked me,"Awak nampak tak saya dapat ikan besar tadi, rasa2nya siakap! Tapi sayang!!! tali putus...FRUST GILER!!!". Takpelah Abi sayang, next time cuba lagik,k.

Well, we must go for more fishing outings.

Snap! Snap! Snap!

Before my precious Nabil was born, it was my wish to have a month to month pictures of his milestone. Even bought myself a pricy Anne Geddes pregnancy diary but the book is too pretty to even write on it. Well, i have to, paid good money for it...so for coming precious #2 (dunno when :) ), i have to force myself to scribble on the pretty pages...mmmm.

I have snapped quite some pics of Nabil but didn't put any effort to sort it by his age or accomplishments. So, now, when i'm quite ready to have the Nabil's album, i'm quite stuck! Don't really know which picture goes to what month???

Nabil is now 14 months, quite cute looking (like the father...hehehe...btw, every person who saw my son in first glance will always say that he looks like the father and not me, never once!) and quite playful. He's charming and adorable. (Kalau tak puji anak sendiri sape lagi nak puji...kan! hehehe)

I need to start on this album project soon! I want Nabil to have the album, something from his Mama's heart.

Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant

"Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant" destinasi berbuka untuk puasa hari ke 3. Hubby wanted to treat me before puasa but the restaurant was fully booked. Dia nak bawak I tengok sunset in KL.

We arrived at 6.30 pm. Went to the Observation Deck first. Our first view of KL was my office - Menara TM. Round 1 kali and we proceed to the restaurant. We were shown to table 7, by the window. Abi said, "mmm,7, lucky number". We sat there and admire the view of KL. Mintak the waiter amik gambar kami, yelah...bukannya senang (and murah *wink*) nak makan kat Restoran atas langit ni kan!

At 7 pm, we proceed to the buffet counter. There are 3 buffet counters : The Malaysian, Chinese and Western and also the sweet counter of desserts. We attacked the Malaysian buffet counter first, amik sate, nasi dhall and udang. Amik sikit dulu, lepas solat...sambung secara besar-besaran...hehehe.

Lepas solat, kami sambung makan. We attacked the Chinese and Western buffet lak. I tried the salmon, mmm quite good. Tried it before but this time cam lagik sedap pulak. Hubby amik roast beef, roti with beef slices and of couse udang lagik! Kl view at night is spectacular. The revolving restaurant is supposedly to complete a cycle in 1 hour. Nice view of KLCC Twin Tower.

Makan punya makan, perut dah senak :) Apa lagi, bayar n blah lah...:) Hubby buat surprise,dia amik bunga carnation kat meja tu and bagi kat I...so sweet! Even the man at the next table pun tersenyum tengok kami. Kembang kuncup idung aku...hehehe.

Abi, thanks for the wonderful n unforgettable dinner in the sky! Best giler.I luv u!
